New housebuilder starts work on first development

New housebuilder Braddus Homes has begun work on its first development, building four five-bedroom room detached homes in Mattersey, near Doncaster.

The Priory Fields Development appears to be the only one on the Braddus website.

All four properties will feature bay windows, underfloor heating, open pan kitchens, en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.

Work began after Braddus bought the land on Thorpe Road with construction expected to complete by Spring 2026.

Sales will launch later this year. Prices are set to be released in time for all the properties, but one has already been revealed on the Braddus website at £765,000.

“We are delighted to be bringing our properties of distinction to the beautiful village of Mattersey,” said Huw Richards, operations director at Braddus Homes.

“The land offers a fantastic opportunity to create a handpicked selection of new homes whilst preserving the picturesque landscape that makes this area so appealing.”

Huw joined Braddus — which was incorporated at the end of 2023 — in February 2024.

He has previously worked at Riva Homes, Duchy Homes and Avant Homes.
